As owners and operators of their family business, Chad and Kristin devote much of their time to ensure the quality of food and drinks as well as the experience of the guests they serve remain a top priority while still raising their two boys in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. Serving the community in which they live and visitors alike is the reason they decided to open a restaurant in Fairplay Colorado. They spend their free time exploring the surrounding mountains and small towns to enjoy the same experience they provide to the guests at Salado.
They strive to utilize as many locally sourced and sustainable ingredients for the cuisine and feature local wine, beer and whiskey from fellow small businesses in the area.
