For over 30 years Randall McKinnon has been entertaining locals and visitors to the Colorado High Country. His warm mix of country and folk styles, with more than a touch of classic rock, was fostered in these mountains and immediately provides listeners with a sense of place and belonging. You can find him at local dude ranches and resorts, in bookstores and coffee shops and playing for conference events and private parties. Think “campfire” and you begin to get a sense of the intimate rapport Randall quickly builds with his audience.
While Randal, stays busy at home during the summer and winter seasons he is increasingly traveling during the spring and fall to play at house concerts and small festivals. Randall is also a budding luthier and loves other activities which generate sawdust. There is a strong possibility the guitar you see him play at shows was personally hand-crafted.
In his spare time, Randall also enjoys serving on the Board of Directors of the Park County Creative Alliance and is grateful for the opportunity to work with other local artists.
