Al-Mart is your locally owned and operated general store serving our little town and beyond. We have built our brick & mortar business with pride, hard work and dedication.

Al-Mart General Store is located in the historic Silverheels building at 11 South Main Street downtown Alma, Colorado est. 1873. Sitting at 10,578 feet above sea level, Alma is the highest incorporated town in the United States.

Established in 2007, the Al-Mart has continued to grow and is even considered a tourist destination. They visualized a place where locals and visitors can buy the things they need daily on this side of the Continental Divide. Alma has a rich community of skiers, snowboarders, bikers (of all kinds), fly fishers, musicians, boaters, artists, and miners, to name a few. The store mirrors the diverse Mountain spirit providing Alma with a "megamart" alternative that they can truly call their own.
