Denise Kelly

Denise Kelly has lived in the Lake George area for 28 years. She has been interested in photography for many years and has photographed weddings, family/baby portraits and senior pictures, but is drawn towards the wildlife, aspens and macro shooting. She has an underwater camera and has captured pictures of trout that she had caught while fly fishing. She has many images of the local eagles and buffalo and is inspired by wildlife and the beauty in nature. She takes a fall trip to a different area in Colorado annually to capture the aspens changing.

She turns many of her photos into homemade cards and has ‘The Beauty of Colorado’ greeting card racks at local stores. There are many photos and large prints displayed at Mountain River Lodge and Cabins in Lake George. She also does custom orders. She likes experimenting with different edits adding an artistic flair on a few of her photos to create a unique vision and also enjoys acrylic painting, fishing and making aspen frames for her photos.

A few of her eagle photographs were featured in a story in the Summer in the Park, a special edition published by The Flume.
