Miranda Linnehan

Miranda is the artist behind Moonrise Art Studio! While primarily a painter, she considers herself a maker of many unique creations. She enjoys experimenting with a variety of techniques and mediums.

Many years ago she moved to the small mountain town of Bailey, Colorado, and opened up her studio. Miranda began working as an artist for some local galleries as well as teaching small workshops. Exploring the mountains and enjoying the wildlife has had a deep influence on her work. She incorporates the beauty of her Rocky Mountain home into paintings.

In her studio she specializes in custom works from paintings, murals, signs, and prints, to wood burnings, jewelry, and mixed media - "I enjoy working with them all!"

Miranda holds a B.A. degree with a double concentration in Art History and Anthropology from Colorado State University and studied Fine Art at the Santa Chiara Study Center in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy.

She continues to participate in art shows across Colorado, and in her free time you can find her hiking the local hills, sometimes with a brush or pencil in my hand!

Some of her pieces are currently on display at the Fun & Funky Galleries in Bailey, CO.
