This is the second mural project completed by the Park County Creative Alliance. The first mural was completed on the side of the Jefferson Market in Jefferson, a vibrant mural depicting the heritage of the railroad in South Park. Additional “history inspiring art” projects have included art gatherings at Rocky Mountain Land Library at Buffalo Peak Ranch in Garo.
The Alma murals have been installed in time for the upcoming concert and event season and make a great addition to the town. All four murals can be found on the side of the Alma Town Hall, a three-panel mural on the concert stage, and two murals at the pergola along the riverwalk.
“This has been a collaboration of creative forces. PCCA, the artists, the sponsors and the Town of Alma all worked together to make this happen. We are very excited to share these efforts with the public,” says PCCA president Ann Lukacs.
